The Trinity describes: God, the Father - Jesus the Son and - the Holy Spirit

God OPERATES in
heaven.
God is as the sun – the source of light.


Son ADMINISTRATES
in heaven.
Jesus is as the sun’s rays of light – it show where it comes from.


Holy Spirit’s area is in Christians
on earth.
Ephesians 1:19-22
Holy Spirit brings God’s life to us in the same way as the sun gives life to nature.

Sunday School: God's Structure of a Person

We look like this

Our Body is aware of the world.
We know the world by our senses
(to see, touch, taste smell, hear).
Our body can please God or please ourselves.

Our Soul is aware of our self;
Our soul is our intellect, emotion and will.
Our Soul can be disobedient to God.

Our Spirit is aware God.
Our spirit operates by our faith, hope and love.
It is made healthy by the flow of the Holy Spirit.

Sunday School:Spirit Life

When we give our life to Jesus Christ, God’s spirit touches our spirit and we are alive with His life – born again in a spiritual sense and we become His child. Romans 8:16

A new life begins in our spirit. If we allow our spirit to be in charge of our lives, our spirit can make new our souls and even change our body Romans 8:6

This spirit life in us is made strong with God’s words and matured by the Holy Spirit. Matthew. 4:4 John 6:63

Authority vs Power Luke 10:19 James 4:7

We have been given authority over all the power of the enemy.
We can confidently resist the devil because authority overruns power.

For instance in our car, power is represented by the engine that sits
under the hood. Authority is represented by the steering wheel.
The engine makes more noise and indeed has more power than the steering wheel.
But it is the steering wheel that determines where the car goes.

Bible Study: Know the Truth

When General Wainwright as a prisoner of war during the second World War realised that the truth of the war's end had been hidden from him he took control.

Wainwright limped to the commandant's office announcing "My commander has defeated your commander.
I am in control now. You must surrender."

So without firing a shot the emaciated, physically handicapped POW took over the camp from the well-fed heavily armed commandant.

Devotions: The Prisoner of War

Wainwright’s side had won but he was ignorant of the truth.
He should have been free but he didn’t know it.
He behaved like a POW. He did not know his side had won so he continued to submit to the demand of his captor even though his captor no longer had power over him.

Eventually an American officer walked up to the prisoner of war fence and said, “General, Japan has surrendered.”
Now he responded to the truth.

Wainwright limped to the commandant’s office announcing “My commander has defeated your commander.
I am in control now.
You must surrender.”
