C.T. had placed his father's visitor in an embarrassing positon by making his horse gallop unexpectedly but when the visitor recovered- remaining in good spirits he challenged C.T. with a very straight question.

C.T. would have liked to have avoided the question that he had not seriously considered but there was no way out.
