God punishes a Wicked King

King Ahab of Israel was a very bad man.
He made his people worship a false god.

God was angry so he sent his prophet Elijah with a message.
Tell the king there would be no rain until you,Elijah ask God to make it rain again . Without rain crops won’t grow, and the people will starve.

God told Elijah to hide from King Ahab in the wilderness.
Elijah drank from a creek, but he had no food.
Then he saw black birds flying above him.
These ravens carried bread and meat in their beaks and dropped it beside Elijah.
God had sent them. He cared for Elijah.

One day God would send the rain but this was God’s punishment to the wicked king.
