A Baby’s Life Saved-His sister helps

It was amazing that baby Moses wasn’t killed like all the other baby boys.

The king in the land of Egypt was afraid that God’s people who had lived there since Joseph came was going to take over his country .
So he made the men slaves and had all baby boys killed.
He thought the babies would grow up to be his enemy.

Moses parents hid him for three months but then they made a waterproof basket and put it on the river with Moses in it.
When the princess came to the river to bathe her servant girls brought the basket to her and they found the lovely baby.
The princess kept him for herself.
Moses’ sister saw it and she ran to get a nurse for the baby.
His very own mother.

Moses was given the best teachers in the land. But best of all His mother taught him about the God that saved His life.
