God kept his promise to a boy

Joseph lived long ago many years before Jesus was born but he knew God had a special plan for him. He told his brothers about it.
They didn’t like the dream at all.
They laughed and teased him.
After a while they said they didn’t want to hear another word about it.

Joseph kept remembering his strange dream.
The sun and moon and eleven stars bowed down to him.
He wondered what it would mean.
He did have eleven brothers.
Perhaps his brothers were going to bow down to him.
Joseph knew they would not like that.
He had a feeling that God’s dream was going to come true.
Joseph remembered the promise and he believed God was with him.

One day Joseph’s brothers attacked him and sold him to slave traders for 30 pieces of silver.
Even when Joseph became a slave God never forgot his promise to Joseph.
God made it happen.
