Bible Study: Joseph's Faithfulness

From Slavery to Success

Joseph was sold in Egypt to Potiphar, one of the king’s officers.
The Lord was with Joseph and made him successful –even Potiphar noticed and put him in charge of his everything he owned.
It would have worked out well but Potiphar’s wife told her husband that Joseph was not to be trusted. This was a lie. Sadly Joseph had to go to prison but even then he didn’t give up trusting God.

He always did his best and helped the prison officers.
One day two prisoners told him about their dreams and Joseph told them that God can interpret dreams. He told them God’s answer and it came true.
One prisoner was released.

Two years later the king had a dream too but he couldn’t understand it.
Then the released prisoner remembered Joseph. So Joseph helped the king too.
The king was so pleased that he put Joseph in charge of Egypt.

Joseph saved the land from famine and Joseph’s brothers bowed down to Joseph with respect when they came to Egypt. God answered!
