Zechariah
The year he was high priest God spoke to him in the holiest (Holy of Holies) part of the Temple.

God said he and his wife Elizabeth would have a baby boy.

Zechariah didn’t believe it.

He and his wife were getting old.

Because he didn’t believe God’s message he couldn’t speak a word until the baby was born.
When he wrote down after the birth, “His name is John”
Zechariah could speak again.

John was a few months older than his cousin Jesus.
