Jesus spent forty days after his resurrection showing his followers that he was really alive.

At last Jesus met them on a hill outside the city.

He spoke special words to them.
He said, “Go to Jerusalem and wait for my Spirit to come.”

Then he was taken up to heaven in a cloud.

His friends were watching and two angels said,

“Jesus will come again, just as you saw him go.”
